This is an affordable website hosting plan which includes the cost of your chosen domain name. The plan is ideal for starter websites and blogs, having the added benefit of a control panel with the one click WordPress install tool (*softaculous), which you’ll see the value of in the next step of this tutorial.
Hosting Signup Wizard Instructions
Click through the above setup button, and a page will open up in a new window. Choose the ‘Starter Web Hosting Plan’ which will take you through to the Hosting Signup Wizard, as shown in the picture below.
On that page, under “Configure A Domain Name”
- tick to Register a New Domain
- the Domain Name box will appear
- type in your domain name (carefully)
- select the .com or co.uk
- click the next button
A new page will appear showing your Domain Name Results.
The Domain Name you typed in will be pre-ticked. Check that the spelling and .com or .co.uk is correct, if all is well …
- click on the “Update Selections/Continue Button”
- the “pre-configuration” page will appear
- add your correct details to the form
Hosting Set Up With Domain Name
- click “continue”
- follow step-by-step instructions through to payment
- check your email account for purchase, registration and hosting account login details

Once your payment has been processed, your hosting account will be active. Please note that domain names can take up to 48hours to be populated with the relevant technical (server) information, although it is often almost immediate!

After Domain & Hosting Plan Set Up and Payment
Once you have completed this online process, the hosting supplier will send your account confirmation via email. You will also be provided with the access and login details you will need for reaching your website hosting control panel. (access url may be : http://www.yourdomainname.co.uk/cpanel)
